On January 5, 2026, Carnival season will begin anew with the debut of the Mystic Kings Krewe parade, a procession like no other in the history of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The krewe draws its inspiration from the story of the three wise men who followed the star of Bethlehem and were actually en route on Epiphany Eve, January 5.

Prepare to behold a bejeweled co-ed krewe atop live camels and stallions, riding through the streets of the French Quarter and beyond. Imagine magnificent floats, moving works of art, grander than any that have traversed these streets before with riders bearing gifts, including their signature throw, the Mystic Kings Crown.
Come see the flambeaux! The bands! The marching groups! Wonders all around.
