Like many of the old-line Mardi Gras parades, the officers of the Mystic Kings Krewe cannot reveal themselves. What we can tell you is that the social club was founded by a
renowned designer who has created floats for many New Orleans and Alabama krewes as well as for Disney and the Rose Parade. Mystic Kings’ founding members include
seasoned riders of Thoth, Druids, Tucks, Freret, Bacchus, and more. Never before has a group like this come together to create something so magical.

Let it be known that on Twelfth Night, January 5, 2026, the grand and illustrious Mystic Kings Krewe will lead a magical new tradition through the streets of New Orleans.
Like the wise men who followed the star to Bethlehem, the Mystic Kings Krewe will arrive on camels bearing gifts, this time for the loyal subjects of New Orleans and their treasured guests.
It is therefore further ordered and ordained that on every Epiphany Eve until the end of time clouds will cease to gather rain will cease to fall, wine will flow like the river, and music will fill the air which will be perfumed, by the way, not with frankincense and myrrh, but with the heavenly scents of gumbo, jambalaya and seafood boils aplenty.
New Orleans inn and tavern keepers will gleefully throw open their doors, welcoming townspeople from kingdoms far and near, who will come to be wowed before the Kings.
Let the festivities begin, and may they never end. Thus it is proclaimed. So shall it be.
